TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN (TK) INFORMATION NIGHT – MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd from 5:30-6:30 pm
A Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Parent Information Night will be held Monday, February 3rd at the District Office Board Room (401 N. Fairview Avenue) from 5:30-6:30 pm. Children who turn 5 years old between September 2nd and December 2nd, 2014 are eligible for TK. Please attend if you would like more information about our district’s program.
PTA MEETING – THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6th at 6:30 pm
Please come to the PTA meeting this Thursday, February 6th at 6:30 pm in Room 23 (Mrs. Hughes’ classroom) – there will be a guest speaker from the SB School District presenting on Parent Square – a potential school wide communication tool.
BOX TOPS – DUE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13th
Please remember to save your Box Tops. For each Box Top collected, Brandon School receives 10 cents. Box Tops will be collected from classrooms on Thursday, February 13th.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR DAC MEETING – FEBRUARY 13th from 9:15-11:00 am
Parent volunteers are needed to attend a special meeting of the Goleta District Advisory Committee (DAC) on Thursday, February 13th from 9:15-11:00 am at the District Office. The Superintendent is looking for parent representatives from each school to share their opinions and feedback for ideas in writing a document called the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCSP), which reflects our community’s vision for our schools. Brandon needs to send at least 2-3 parents to this meeting in addition to our regular DAC Representative. If you are interested in attending, please contact Felicia Roggero at email@example.com
